At The Ferns, Rotorua
If you enjoy peace and quiet you will find it At The Ferns.
A colourful flower garden is set amongst native shrubs and tree ferns; New Zealand native birds love to visit.
The Bed and Breakfast accommodation has a king-sized bed and everything to ensure that you will be comfortable. Relax and enjoy the view over the garden to the countryside.
There is a private entrance opening on to your own deck so that you can come and go as you like.
A full breakfast is served - on the terrace surrounded by tui and bell-birds on sunny mornings. At night you might enjoy a walk to the falls with Bernie and Carol to see the glow worms; on the way the night sky may show brightly and you will see why our galaxy is called "The Milky Way".
Choose the self contained cottage with modern comforts and you will have secluded privacy on the entry level of the property. Surrounded by tree ferns and bush you will be in a world of your own.
A sparkling new interior, the bedroom has a queen and a single bed, there is a well-appointed bathroom with washing machine and the living room has a kitchenette, TV, video, stereo and selection of music tapes.
The cottage is well equipped for self catering or you can arrange breakfast at the house for $15 each person.
The approach is level with plenty of room to park your car and boat. Opening off the living room is a wide covered terrace with gas barbeque and outdoor furniture.
Walk to Okere Falls and fish for trout, kayak, white water raft or watch the fun. Away from it all yet close enough to visit all the sights and activities of Rotorua.
