We, John and Iris will be delighted to pamper you in our little piece of paradise. Looking after YOU will be the most important task for us while you are here.
You will be extremely comfortable in our purpose built guest wing of our architectural home. Views from every window. Very comfortable beds dressed in top quality linen; TV in rooms; luxury bathrooms; electric blankets; air con; private sitting room with TV and tea/coffee making.
We have wonderful outdoor living that you are welcome to take advantage of whether it be socialising in our gorgeous courtyard or sitting on the deck to enjoy our breath-taking view.
Sublime breakfasts at a time to suit YOU (latest 9.00am;) help with your itinerary and advice on what's best in The Bay.
We are just two minutes drive to our beautiful village Havelock North where you will find boutique shopping, cinema, cafes', restaurants, close to world class vineyards such as Craggy Range, Te Mata, Black Barn, Vidals. etc. etc.
Wonderful sightseeing; beaches; walks; fishing.
Hawke's Bay is where summer comes early and winter arrives late, make sure you allow at least two nights to avoid missing out on some of our great attractions.
We have an in house art studio to visit where you can view/buy/commission original New Zealand art. John specialises in capturing the character of New Zealand. Our home is filled with original NZ art, many comments are passed that it is like visiting an art gallery.
Skype and fast wireless broadband available at any time, use your lap-top in your room or outside.
Our garden has won an award for its design and interest. It is a producing garden with hazel nuts, olives, many citrus, carob, feijoas, figs and many natives and ornamentals. It is a haven for many native birds. You are welcome to stroll through the pathways.
We both love to cook and if you would like to join us, or dine in private, we would be thrilled to prepare you a delicious 3 course meal.
